Living in Dubai
Dubai is an excellent place to live and study. Millions of tourists visit this place every year to spend quality time.
Officially Dubai is an Islamic state. But it is very liberal in its policies. It has attracted a large number of immigrants. The law & order situation is very good. The official language is Arabic but English is a widely spoken language.
Being a hub of international trade and commerce, Dubai is a little bit expensive in terms of accommodation. Students who want to study here have to live in accommodation provided by the universities or have to look for private accommodation. On an average, they have to pay about 2500-5000 AED per month.
The food is available at a cheaper cost. Wide varieties of cuisines are available vegetarian & nonvegetarian. The high-quality food is available at very reasonable prices.
Transportation in Dubai is also available at a very low price. Dubai is very rich in terms of infrastructure facilities. Transportation in the form of buses, taxis, metro, and railroad is available at very cheaper rates. For one ride students have to pay AED 2. Taxi fares start at AED 3. Carpooling option is also available for students.
