Sweden is a Scandinavian country having its borders with Norway and Finland. It has its maritime borders with Germany, Denmark, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. It is the third largest country in the European Union in terms of area. The population of Sweden is very thin making this an ideal place to live and study.
Sweden is very rich in natural landscapes. About 65% of the total land area of Sweden is covered in thick forests. Two of its largest islands are Gotland and Öland. Vättern and Vänern are its largest lakes.
The country is a constitutional monarchy. Here the head of the state is a king. Underneath this, there is a parliamentary democracy which looks after all the administrative and executive functions.
