Test Requirements In Singapore
Students who have completed their 10th or 12th are eligible for admission in diploma programs. For admission in undergraduate courses, students must have completed their 12th. The students who have completed their graduation from a recognized university are eligible for admission to a master degree program.
Apart from these students also have to qualify some standardized test for admission. As education in Singapore is offered in English, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a test which is accepted by various institutes for granting admission. This is a standard test for measuring proficiency in English.
TOEFL stands for Test of English as Foreign Language is another standard test which is accepted for admission. This test helps in checking the proficiency in English for non-English speaking persons.
Private Education Organizations also offer courses from certification to post graduation level. They organize their own entrance test for admission.
